Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HeyListenUp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

HeyListenUp is a webhook inspection and monitoring tool. The Service provides unique URLs for receiving HTTP webhook events, real-time inspection of those events, local forwarding, event replay, and related features as described on our website.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not create accounts using automated means or under false pretenses.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Transmit, store, or process any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Receive, store, or forward personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security or authentication measures
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or data contained therein
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or facilitate spam
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service without our written consent

5. Data and Webhook Payloads

Webhook payloads received through your endpoints are stored according to your plan's retention policy (48 hours on Free, 90 days on Pro, 1 year on Team). You are solely responsible for the content of data transmitted through your endpoints.

You must not use HeyListenUp endpoints to receive payloads containing sensitive personal data (such as passwords, payment card numbers, or government-issued ID numbers) unless you have taken appropriate security precautions and comply with all applicable regulations.

6. Paid Plans and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by HeyListenUp and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the content of webhook payloads transmitted through your endpoints.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeyListenUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
